房宁，现任中国社会科学院政治学研究所所长、研究员，多年从事民主政治理论与实践研究。近年来主要著述有：《民主政治十论——中国特色社会主义民主理论与实践的若干重大问题》、《自由权威多元——东亚政治发展研究报告》、《民主的中国经验》等。
