Abstract
This book is the achievement of the National Social Sciences Fund Project. After the end of cold war, the non-traditional security has begun to be raised. The competition among countries has transferred to the non-military field gradually. Thereinto, owing to the development of globalization and informatization, the status of national cultural sovereignty has been increasingly significant and the national cultural interest has become the core strategic interest gradually. In the period of Clinton Administration, the USA regarded the ideology and the leadership of value as the three pillars of American global strategy. In the complicated international environment, the security interest of China which is a socialist country largely shows up as the national cultural security. Strengthening the status of leading ideology, maintaining the ethnic cultural identity and ensuring the healthy development of public cultural life are necessary to be brought into the field of national security. In the context of globalization, the book excavates the basic theory of cultural security, and provides references for establishing Chinese national cultural security strategy in the era of globalization through clarifying the strategic situation and analysing the strategic mission.
