About the Authors
Teresa Wedding Kloster is an executive coach and consultant in leadership development. With over 15 years of leadership and management experience in a corporate setting, she supports client organizations by designing leadership development strategies and programs, by coaching leaders at all levels, and through delivering workshops on a wide variety of topics, including leadership, management and coaching skills, emotional intelligence, critical thinking, and performance management. Her company, Kloster & Associates, serves clients in both the private and public sectors, in the United States and abroad.
Ms. Kloster has a certificate in Leadership Coaching from Georgetown University and also holds an International Coach Federation credential. She earned a Master of Arts in Education and a Bachelor of Arts in English Literature from the College of William and Mary. She is a member of the International Coach Federation.
Wendy Sherwin Swire is Principal of Swire Solutions, LLC, a consulting firm that improves workplace performance through executive coaching, consulting, training, neuroleadership, and conflict resolution services. She delivers courses on executive coaching, management, neuroleadership, conflict resolution, influencing, and communication in both the private and public sectors. Ms. Swire has worked with clients throughout the United States as well as in Asia, Europe, Latin America, and Africa. Prior to forming Swire Solutions, she was an international economist for the federal government and worked in the financial services industry.
Ms. Swire served as an Adjunct Professor at the Carey Graduate School of Business at Johns Hopkins University. She graduated from Georgetown University’s Leadership Coaching Program and holds a Professional Certified Coach credential from the International Coach Federation. She received a Master’s Degree from Tufts University’s Fletcher School of Law and Diplomacy and a Bachelor of Arts in International Relations and Economics from Mount Holyoke College. Ms. Swire runs the DC Neuroleadership Group. She is a member of the International Coach Federation, the Society for Neuroscience, and the Conflict Resolution Center of Montgomery County.
