Section 4 Main Factors Affecting Occurrence of Warm Disease
1.Body Constitutional Type
A patient’s body constitution can be thought of a primary component part to determine his resistant ability to the pathogens. Generally speaking, the people with constitutional type of Yang excess or/and Yin deficiency easily suffer from dry-heat category of warm diseases, while the people with that of Yang deficiency or/and Qi deficiency or phlegm-damp easily suffer from damp-heat category of warm diseases.
2.Natural Environment
Natural environment, especially climate, geological state and seasonal period, profoundly influences the occurrence, development and outcome of the warm diseases. For instance,summer-warm disease always happens in the summer season with a very hot climate, while damp-warm disease usually happens in the later summer or in the East-South China with a cloudy-raining weather or moist place.
3.Social Environment
Social environment includes a lot of important factors, such as social upheaval, poor economic condition, unluck family and married status, residential house, dietary habit, work and rest,physical training, sanitary equipment and medical care, all of which can gradually act the human body for a long time, thus affect the people’ heathy situations, and then lead to occurrence of warm disease directly or indirectly.
