Design for a restaurant is basically required to pass on the brand image correctly, and make customers feel the unique feature of this brand, thus realizing the communicating function of this space. Little Wheat is a new oriental restaurant which mainly serves handmade noodles, so the enterprise holds“handmade”closely and wishes to create a brand image which“advocates nature, goes back to nature".

The surfaces of booths covered with flooring combines wood grain with signet patterns, inspired by the wood house in forest to make people feel like in the deep of trees. Also, a warm, natural and cordial atmosphere is created by the warm light of lamps. The background of this restaurant is red brick walls collocated with decorative paintings with a scene of harvest in the yard. Pure red brick wall has a good function on making a natural ambience, however, because the rough surface is negative to reflect light, thus reducing the brightness in this area; the painting with gold and yellow colors can prevent that circumstances from happening as well as enhancing the natural elements.

Floor bricks are designed specifically, to show an image of awn of wheat. Lighting is mainly expressed by crystal hanging lamps and cirrus elements, while façade and partitions are all made of glass to take full advantage of natural light. This design can ensure the illumination, and also has fun to enjoy oriental and western design at the same time.

餐厅设计的基本要求在于准确传达品牌形象，使进入餐厅的人能感受到这个品牌的独特个性，让空间起到与消费者沟通的作用。小麦町是一家主营手工面的新中式餐厅，企业紧扣“手工”期望打造一个“崇尚自然、回归自然”的品牌形象。

餐厅的卡位饰面直接采用地板，木材切面的花纹和印章式纹饰结合的设计灵感来源于森林木屋，这样的搭配让人产生一种如同置身森林深处的错觉，在暖色灯光的渲染下，一种温暖、亲切和自然、轻松的氛围油然而生。餐厅用红砖墙作背景，配以田园秋收内容的装饰画。简单的红砖墙在营造自然氛围方面的效果极好，但同时也由于墙面粗糙，不易反射光线，会降低附近区域的亮度，但通过以金黄色为主色调的装饰画的搭配，既防止了亮度受损的情况发生，又通过田园风光增强了自然氛围。

地砖的铺设构图巧妙，塑造出麦芒的造型。餐厅的灯具设计采用水晶灯加藤蔓元素作为主要表现手法，餐厅的外墙和卡座的隔墙使用大块玻璃，充分利用了自然光线。这样的设计既保证了空间照度，又增添几分中西合璧的趣味。
