《葛传椝英文学习法》所收文章多出自《葛传椝英文集》（Man and Student）第一集，书中最后四篇“On the Europeanization of the Chinese Language”，“Some Fragments of Pai Chü-I’s Poetry Concerning Women”，“Some Longer English Lyrics”和“How to Study English”则出自《葛传椝英文集》第三集。
