In the midst of China's all-out battle against the COVID-19 outbreak, the Publishing House of Electronics Industry (PHEI) produced this audio picture book in Chinese language in the shortest time possible, to cheer up Wuhan, the worst-hit city in the country, and build courage and confidence in kids.

Written with warmth and care, this book tells how Agan (with image inspired from hot dry noodles-Wuhan's iconic street food), who was infected with the novel coronavirus, fights against the virus. Unfortunate as he is to be hit by the virus, Agan remains positive and optimistic, and follows doctors’ instructions. Under the careful treatment of medical professionals and support from his “food” buddies all over China, Agan finally defeats the cunning virus and enjoys the beautiful spring.

The book also integrates knowledge about the virus and effective ways of its prevention and control, in order to arm children and their parents with science and encourage them to have faith in the victory over the virus. In addition,the book also calls on everyone on this planet to protect the environment, respect all lives, and care for Mother Nature.By presenting such a book, the PHEI hopes to contribute its share to the battle and pay its respect to every “hero in harm's way”.

While offering free electronic version of the book, the PHEI also invited Chun Ni, famous anchor of China Beijing Television Station and Xue Ying, founder of Xue Ying Reading Club and TV host to make an audio version, with the view to allowing little readers to enjoy charming voices while reading the story, thus staying strong with our hero in the book until the day of victory.
