6.2　Balling

6.2.1　The selection of balling process and equipment shall be based on raw material characteristics and balling tests.

6.2.2　The inclination of balling discs and rotating speed of balling discs/drums shall be adjustable.

6.2.3　Spare balling line（s）shall be provided.

6.2.4　Materials should be stored in balling feed bins for no more than 2 hours of operation and should not remain stagnantly in the bins exceeding 4 hours.Measures against adhering during material storage and transportation in balling system shall be furnished.

6.2.5　Water spray devices should be attached to balling machines.Water added during balling shall be as little as possible and it should be atomized for ball making.

6.2.6　Dedicated overhead traveling crane（s）must be provided for maintenance of balling discs and/or balling drums.
