6.8 Installation of Shell
6.8.1 Set up in turn,reversal set up,upper reversal set up and lower set up in turn,off-line grouping and overall slippage method,and other installation processes may be adopted for the installation of the furnace shell.When adopting the set up in turn,the installation of the blast furnace shell shall be synchronized with that of the frame.When adopting the reversal set up,upper reversal set up and lower set up in turn,off-line grouping and overall slippage method,the frame shall be installed earlier than the furnace shell.
6.8.2 Before installation of the blast furnace,the hot-blast stove and the smelting reduction ironmaking furnace,center targets shall be buried for the 4-core point of 0°,90°,180° and 270° of the foundation and the center point thereof,dropping points shall be measured,longitudinal and transverse center lines and elevation point of the vertical column of the furnace frame shall be measured at the same time.
6.8.3 When the water cooling beam(pipe)is arranged below the bottom plate of the blast furnace,its installation shall be in accordance with the following requirements:
1 The arrangement of the padding plate of the water cooling beam(pipe)shall meet the requirements of the design document.Relevant provisions of the current national standard GB 50231 General Code for Construction and Acceptance of Mechanical Equipment Installation Engineering shall be complied with when design without provisions.
2 The water cooling beam(pipe)shall be preassembled at the plant and disassembled into fragmentations to transport into the installation site for installation.The assembly part in the middle shall be firstly installed,and then those at both sides shall be installed.In addition of 4-core line of 0°,180°,90° and 270° shall be aligned and adjusted,as well as checked by steel ruler through drawing wire and hanging pendant,with the allowable deviation of 3mm.When adjusting the levelness and elevation of the upper surface of the beam by the padding plate and the metal adjustment part pre-buried at the side of the water cooling beam,the adjustment result shall be checked by the level gauge or steel ruler and its value shall meet the requirements of the design document.When there is no requirement in the design document,the allowable deviation of elevation is±10mm,that in height difference of the adjacent bearing beam is 4mm,and that in height difference of all bearing beams is 1/1000 of the diameter of the bearing beams.
3 After completing the installation and pressure test of the water cooling beam(pipe),the closing plate shall be installed according to the requirements of the design document,and then the next procedure is entered for the construction of heat-resistant concrete and carbon ramming materials.
6.8.4 When the water cooling pipe is arranged on the bottom plate of the blast furnace,its installation shall be in accordance with the following requirements:
1 The pedestal of the water cooling pipe shall be installed according to the elevation of the water cooling pipe hole on the blast furnace shell and checked by steel ruler.The allowable deviation of elevation is±5mm.
2 The height difference of the adjacent water cooling pipes shall be measured by level gauge,with the allowable deviation of 3mm.The allowable deviation of height difference of all bearing beams is 4mm.
3 The water cooling pipe shall be installed after installing the cooling equipments of furnace.
6.8.5 The overall hydraulic test of the water cooling pipe shall be in accordance with the following requirements:
1 The pressure of the hydraulic test shall meet the requirements of the design document.The testing pressure shall be 1.5 times of the design pressure when there is no requirement in the design document.Pressure rise for the pressure test shall be slow,the pressure shall be stabilized for 10min after reaching the test pressure,then the test pressure shall be reduced to the design pressure,and the pressure stops for 30min.In this way,the pressure test shall be deemed to be qualified till it is free of pressure drop and leakage.
2 After the hydraulic test is qualified,ponding in the pipe shall be blown down with compressed air,and the carbon steel pipe shall be filled with inert gases and then closed.
6.8.6 The installation of the bottom plate of the furnace shall be in accordance with the following requirements:
1 When the water cooling pipe is arranged below the bottom plate of the furnace,rainproof measures shall be taken for the heat-resistant concrete and carbon ramming materials in the water cooling beam in the construction process of the bottom plate of the furnace.
2 Before taking the bottom plate of the furnace in place,the center of the furnace may be taken as the center of the circle on the foundation or the water cooling beam,the circle shall be scribed on the water cooling beam as per the special tool for design radius of the bottom plate,the locating plate shall be arranged on the circle,and the locating lines of each fragment shall be scribed.
3 The bottom plate shall be lifted in place block by block in sequence extending from the center of the furnace to the radius direction,and the 4-core line of 0°,180°,90° and 270° of the bottom plate,the levelness of the upper surface and the diameter of the bottom plate of the furnace shall be aligned and adjusted.The allowable deviation of the center line of the bottom plate is 2.0mm.The allowable deviation of the levelness of the upper surface is 1/1000 of the diameter of the bottom plate of the furnace.The difference of the maximum diameter and the minimum diameter of the bottom plate of the furnace shall be 2/1000 of the diameter of the bottom plate of the furnace.
4 The welding of the bottom plate of the furnace shall meet the requirements of Section 6.2 of this standard.The bottom plate shall be firstly subject to positioned welding and taphole welding,of which the taphole welding shall be from the center to the surrounding of the bottom plate.The transverse weld and the longitudinal weld shall be welded in sequence for the bottom plate of the furnace.The transverse weld shall be welded extending from the middle to the two ends,and shall be subject to subsection skip sequence welding and multi-layer and multi-weld beads welding.The bottom plate and the ring plate shall be subject to symmetric back-step welding through many people at the same time in the same direction in a uniformly distributing manner.Whenever necessary,backward deformation fixture may be welded and the stress may be relieved by a hammering method.
5 Grouting holes and exhaust vents shall be installed and welded according to the requirements of the design document.The welding should extend from the center to the radius direction of the bottom plate through many people.Both the grouting hole and the exhaust vent shall be provided with rainproof covers.
6 The installation of the bottom plate of the furnace shall meet the relevant requirements of the design document or current national standard GB 50372 Code for Installation Acceptance of Metallurgical Machinery Ironmaking Equipment Engineering,and then the pressure grouting shall be conducted.Pressure grouting hole and exhaust vent shall be cut away by many people after pressure grouting by extending from the center of the bottom plate along the radius direction,and be sealed in accordance with the provisions of the design document.
6.8.7 The grouping of the blast furnace shell shall be in accordance with the following requirements:
1 When grouping the blast furnace shell on the installation site,the grouping platform shall be arranged according to the requirements of Item 3 of Article 6.4.8 of this standard.
2 For the shell of the furnace hearth section connected with the bottom plate of the blast furnace,the bottom ring plate of the furnace has been welded in the manufacturer,it shall be adhered to the assembling platform face.When the height difference of the upper opening of the shell steel plate can not meet the requirements,the shell must not be heightened in the form of adding the padding plate.
3 The grouping of the single ring or ring assembled shall meet the requirements of Article 6.5.9 and Article 6.5.10 of this standard.The range and quantity of the ring assembled shall be determined according to the lifting capacity of the lifting machinery,and the grouping interface should not be at the turning part of the shell.
4 When grouping the furnace group,the temporary platform,the tracks and ladder should be grouped at the same time.After the blast furnace shell is assembled as the single ring,the strengthening support shall be provided.The single ring should be lifted by a special hanging support.
5 The grouping of the blast furnace shell shall synchronize with the installation of its accessories.
6.8.8 The installation of the blast furnace shell shall be in accordance with the following requirements:
1 Before lifting in place,the center target of the furnace shall be arranged on the bottom plate of the furnace,the dropping points shall be measured,a furnace center measuring tower shall be arranged on the bottom plate,and the furnace center pendant shall be hung on the furnace center measuring tower.
2 When assembling the blast furnace shell ring by ring,the radius of the blast furnace shell and the concentricity of the center of the blast furnace shell ring relative to that of the furnace bottom shall be measured respectively.The level gauge shall be erected to measure the height difference of the upper opening of the blast furnace shell steel plate ring.
3 The single block shell plate of the furnace hearth section connected with the bottom ring plate of the blast furnace should be provided with a support for preventing toppling.
4 After the installation of blast furnace bosh shell and before the installation of throat furnace shell,the security platform for construction of refractory shall be installed respectively and the requirements of the design document shall be met.
5 After the installation of the security platform,the center point of the furnace bottom shall be transplanted to the security platform.
6 For the installation of the blast furnace shell above the blast furnace bosh,a movable measurement bridge capable of being put on the blast furnace shell shall be arranged,the furnace center pendant shall be hung and the level gaugeshall be erected on the measurement bridge,the radius of each section of the furnace shell,the concentricity of the center of the blast furnace shell steel plate ring relative to that of the furnace bottom,and the height difference of the upper opening of the blast furnace shell ring shall be measured respectively.
7 When installing theblastfurnace hearth,tuyere section,furnace bosh,furnace waist,furnace body,furnace throat and furnace top closing plate,the allowable deviation shall be in accordance with the following requirements:
1)The difference between the maximum diameter and the minimum diameter of the blast furnace shell steel plate ring shall be calculated by measuring the radius value through steel ruler.The allowable deviation is 2/1000 of the diameter of the bottom plate of the furnace.
2)The center of the blast furnace shell steel plate ring shall be overlapped with that of the furnace bottom and be checked by steel ruler through drawing wire.The allowable deviation is 2/1000 of the difference between the elevation of the blast furnace shell steel plate ring and that of the furnace bottom andno larger than 30.0mm.
3)The height difference of the upper opening of the blast furnace shell steel plate ring shall be checked by level gauge,with the allowable variation of 4.0mm.
4)The allowable variation of grouping alignment gap of the blast furnace shell steel plate shall meet the requirements of Table 6.8.8.

8 For the lifting of the blast furnace shell ring assembled,its allowable deviation shall meet the requirements of Article 6.8.8 of this standard.
9 After the installation of the blast furnace shell of taphole or slag hole section of the furnace hearth,the center line and the elevation of the taphole or the slag hole shall be rechecked and meet the requirements of the design document.When there is no requirement in the design document,the center position of the flange face of the slag hole and taphole sleeves shall be measured according to the start point as specified along the circle of the furnace shell,with the allowable deviation of 4'.The allowable deviation of the levelness of the horizontal center line of the flange face and that in the outer diameter of the flange is 3mm.the allowable deviation of elevation is±5.0mm.
10 When installing the blast furnace shell section of the gas sampling machine,the center elevation of the sampling machine butt flange shall be rechecked,with the allowable deviation of±10.0mm.For the flange with the diameter of less than 500mm,the allowable deviation of perpendicularity of the flange face and the longitudinal center line of the sampling machine is 1mm within the diameter of the flange.For the flange with the diameter of larger than or equal to 500mm,the allowable deviation in the diameter of the flange is 2/1000.
11 When grouping the gas cover,anchoring parts and lifting lugs of refractory,throat steel brick installing accessories shall be installed according to the lifting capacity of the lifting machinery.
6.8.9 For the holes scribed and positioned in plant and tapped on the installation site as specified in the design document,the semi-automatic cutting machine or mechanical drilling tool shall be adopted for tapping.The hole edge shall be polished and be free of cutting slots or burrs and other defects.Kidshaped holes of the cooling plate should be tapped at both ends with the mechanical drilling tool,and the blast furnace shell steel plate between the holes shall be cutting by oxy-acetylene flame.
6.8.10 The installation of the furnace top flange shall be in accordance with the following requirements:
1 Before installation of the furnace top flange,tapping of the gas cover blast furnace shell section and corresponding welding works shall be completed.
2 For the installation of the furnace top flange,the longitudinal and transverse centerline and pendant shall be hung on the 4-core point of 0°,90°,180° and 270° of the furnace top platform.The center of the furnace top flange shall be aligned and adjusted.Its allowable deviation is 2/1000 of the difference between the design elevation of the furnace top flange and that of the furnace bottom and shall not be larger than 30mm.
3 A jack shall be arranged at the side of the furnace top steel ring.The elevation of the flange shall be aligned and adjusted as well as measured by the theodolite,with the allowable deviation of±20.0mm.
4 A levelling ruler,leveling instrument or the level gauge and steel ruler may be arranged on the upper plane of the furnace top flange.The height difference between any two points shall be checked.The allowable deviation is 1/1000 of the diameter of the furnace top flange and shall not be larger than 3mm.
6.8.11 The installation of the bottom plate of the hot-blast stove shall be in accordance with the following requirements:
1 When bedding dry sand below the bottom plate of a regenerative chamber of the hot-blast stove,the rainproof measures shall be taken after bedding dry sand and the bottom plate of the regenerative chamber shall be installed immediately.When installing,the bottom plate shall be lifted up and down at least twice,of which the contact degree of the dry sand and the bottom plate shall be subject to visual inspection for the first time,the contact area shall not be less than 60%,and the bottom plate shall be dropped in placed again after passing through inspection for leveling and centering.The leveling and centering of the bottom plate shall be performed by free dropping in place.
2 When the bottom plate of the regenerative chamber of the hot-blast stove is thinner than 20mm,a vacuum degree test of the butt weld of the bottom plate shall be taken firstly before bricking.When the vacuum degree is 40kPa,no leakage shall occur.
3 The longitudinal and transverse centerline of the hot-blast stove shall be overlapped with the 4-core line of 0°,90°,180° and 270° on the bottom plate of the stove,and the center of the stove shall be hung on the center target on the stove bottom.The installation of the bottom plate of the stove shall be in accordance with the following requirements:
1)The longitudinal and transverse centerline of the bottom plate of the stove shall be checked by the theodolite or drawing wire,and by steel ruler through hanging pendant,with the allowable deviation of 2.0mm.
2)The elevation of the bottom plate of the stove shall be checked by level gauge or steel ruler,with the allowable deviation of±10mm.
3)The height difference of the upper opening of the bottom plate of the stove shall be checked by level gauge,with the allowable deviation of 4.0mm.
4)The allowable deviation of levelness of the welded bottom plate of the stove is 2/1000 of the diameter of the hot-blast stove.
6.8.12 The installation of the straight cylinder section of the stove shell of the hot-blast stove shall be in accordance with the following requirements:
1 A crossed lifting appliance should be adopted for lifting the whole ring of stove shell.
2 For the installation of the blast furnace shell at the lower part of the straight cylinder section,a tower for measurement shall be arranged in the center of the bottom plate of the stove.During the installation of the upper shell,a movable measurement bridge capable of being put on the stove shell shall be arranged,the stove center pendant shall be hung and level gauge shall be erected on the measurement bridge,the radius of each section of the stove shell,the height difference of the upper opening of the stove shell steel plate ring,and the concentricity of the center of the stove shell steel plate ring relative to that of the stove bottom shall be measured respectively.
3 The allowable deviation of installation of the straight cylinder section of the stove shell of the hotblast stove shall be in accordance with the following requirements:
1)The center of the stove shell steel plate ring shall be overlapped with that of the bottom of the stove.The allowable deviation is 1/1000 of the height of the hot-blast stove and no larger than 30.0mm.
2)The height difference of the upper opening of the stove shell steel plate ring shall be checked by level gauge,with the allowable deviation of 4.0mm.
3)The difference between the maximum diameter and the minimum diameter of the stove shell steel plate ring shall be calculated by measuring the radius value through steel ruler.The allowable deviation is 2/1000 of the diameter of the hot-blast stove.
4 During installation of the straight cylinder section of blast furnace shell connected with the top stove shell,the security platform for construction of fireproof materials should be lifted and installed on the stove shell under the condition that the lifting capacity is permissible.
6.8.13 The installation of the upper shell of the hot-blast stove shall be in accordance with the following requirements:
1 Before the installation of the top stove shell,the center of the stove body shall be transplanted to the security platform,the movable measurement bridge capable of being put on the stove shell shall be arranged,the stove center pendant shall be hung and level gauge shall be erected on the measurement bridge,the circular degree of the stove shell,the concentricity of the center of the stove shell ring relative to that of the stove bottom,the height difference of the upper opening of the stove shell ring,and the center line and elevation of the stub pipe of the relevant interface shall be measured respectively.
2 The allowable deviation of installation of the stove upper shell shall be in accordance with the following requirements:
1)The center of the stove top shall be overlapped with that of the stove bottom and checked by steel ruler by hanging pendant.The allowable deviation is 1/1000 of the diameter of the hot-blast stove and no larger than 30.0mm.
2)The center of the stove top fixed ring shall be overlapped with that of the stove body,and checked by steel ruler by hanging pendant,with the allowable deviation of 5.0mm.
3)The diameter difference of any two points of the stove top fixed ring shall be calculated by radius value measured by steel ruler,with the allowable deviation of 10.0mm.
4)The elevation of the stove top fixed ring shall be checked by level gauge,with the allowable deviation of±5.0mm.
6.8.14 When installing the regenerative chamber and combustion chamber as well as the combustion chamber and mixing chamber of the external combustion hot-blast stove,and top type stove shell and hot vertical pipe of the top combustion hot-blast stove,the butting mark on the stove shell and the mark of the 4-core point of 0°,90°,180° and 270° shall be rechecked,and the orientation,concentricity,perpendicularity,elevation and inter-space of the flange of the connecting pipe shall be further checked,which shall meet the requirements of the design document,and shall be adjusted whenever necessary.
6.8.15 The allowable deviation of grouping alignment gap of the hot-blast stove shell shall meet the requirements of Table 6.8.8.
6.8.16 The installation of rough gas dust remover shall be in accordance with the following requirements:
1 When leaving plant,the rough dust remover should be in the form of overall ring.When leaving plant in the form of blocking,the platform shall be arranged in the installation site according to the requirements of Item 3 of Article 6.4.8 of this standard for assembly.The rough dust remover should be grouped block by block or as ring assembled for lifting.
2 For the rough dust remover shell,the shell ring at the pedestal should be installed and then the upper and lower shell rings should be installed.The upper shell ring shall be installed by set up in turn and the lower section shall be installed by reversal set up.
3 Before the installation of a tapered cover of the gravity dust remover shell having a gas intercepter valve,the gas intercepter valve and its accessories shall be installed.
6.8.17 After completing the installation of the shell structure,the affiliated elements installed on the blast furnace shell shall be cut away 5mm from the surface of the shell.The base metal shall not be damaged during cutting,and the residual part shall be polished flatly by the grinding wheel.
