1　General Provisions

1.0.1　This standard is prepared with a view to improve the mechanical equipment installation level of ironmaking system，ensuring the quality，safety and environment protection of construction projects，and promoting technical progress.

1.0.2　This standard is applicable to mechanical equipment installation of ironmaking blast furnace and smelting reduction ironmaking furnace which are constructed，renovated and extended with a volume equal to or larger than 1000m3.

1.0.3　The mechanical equipment installation of ironmaking system not only shall be complied with the requirements stipulated in this standard，but also those in the current relevant ones of the nation.
