5　Installation of Instrument Transformer，Reactor，Lightning Arrester and Capacitor

5.1　Dominant Items

5.1.1　Instrument transformer，reactor，lightning arrester and capacitor shall pass the commissioning test in accordance with the requirements of Article 2.1.5 of this code.

5.1.2　The grounding of post insulator of reactor shall be in accordance with the following requirements:

1　Where they are installed one atop another，all the post insulators at the bottom shall be grounded.The rest may not be grounded.

2　When installed separately，the post insulators of each phase shall be all grounded.

3　Earth wire of post insulator shall not constitute a closed loop.

5.1.3　The composite members of lightning arrester shall pass the test，and the base of lightning arrester shall be grounded；the base of lightning arrester with an electrical discharge recorder shall be insulated from the foundation，and moreover，its electrical discharge recorder shall be grounded.

5.1.4　The case of each capacitor and the frame of the capacitors，which are not isolated from earth，shall be all grounded.The case of the capacitors isolated from earth shall be connected to the fixed electrical potential.
