10.2　General Items

10.2.1　The installation of electrical equipment shall be in accordance with the following requirements:

1　The installation of distribution panel and cabinet for crane shall be in accordance with those specified in Chapter 7 Installation of Distribution Panel and Switch Cabinet in this code.

2　The distribution panel，cabinet，resistance box and other equipment of the crane shall be mounted with bolts，and locking measures shall be taken for fixing bolts.

3　The electrical equipment for outdoor crane，such as distribution pane，cabinet and resistance box shall be provided with rain protection device and be installed correctly and securely.

4　The travel limit switch of crane，after acting，shall be able to disconnect relevant circuits automatically and stop all mechanisms of crane at the following positions:

1）The hook and grab rise to the position not less than 100mm away from the limit position.

2）The crane bridge and monkey shall stop at the position not less than 200mm away from the end of travel.

3）The crane stops at the position not less than 400mm away from the other crane adjacent to it.

5　The resistance boxes that are installed in a stacked manner shall not be more than 4 boxes for a group，otherwise they shall be mounted with a bracket and a spacing of 20-30mm shall be kept between adjacent boxes.Where more than 6 resistance boxes are installed in such way，another group shall be made.The cover plate and protective hood of the resistor shall be fixed correctly and securely.

10.2.2　The wiring shall be in accordance with the following requirements:

1　All pipe orifices，wire outlets or steel holes through which the wires and cables pass shall be provided with protection measures，e.g.sheath.

2　Except the weak current system，all of the connecting wires used for the crane shall be BVR wires or cables with rated voltage not less than 500V，and cross-sectional area of wire shall not be less than 1.5mm2，and that of the cable core shall not be less than 1.0mm2.

3　At the point on the crane where the wire or cable may be exposed to mechanical damage，dripping of lubricate or thermal radiation，the wire or cable shall be laid in steel conduit，cable duct and protection cover or be protected from heat.

4　The bending radius of the cable installed on the crane in a fixed way shall be 5 times more than its outer diameter and the fixing points shall not be more than 1m from each other；the bending radius of the cable installed on the crane in a mobile way shall be 8 times more than its outer diameter.

5　The connecting wires on the crane shall be arranged in order，and both ends of wire shall be securely connected to corresponding connection terminals and clearly marked with a connection number.

10.2.3　The installation of protective device shall be in accordance with the following requirements:

1　If a mechanism of crane is powered by two motors which are mechanically independent from each other，then the two motors shall be provided with a protective device for synchronous operation and simultaneous power-off.

2　The braking device of crane shall act quickly，accurately and reliably.

3　The striking bar of crane shall be installed in such a way that the travel limit switch can act reliably.The striking bar and its support shall not shake during the operation of crane.The width of striking bar shall meet the meet the requirement of transverse motion required by the mechanical parts（bridge and monkey），and the length of striking bar shall meet the requirement of max braking distance by mechanical parts（bridge and monkey）.

4　The lighting device for the crane shall have separate power supply that is not controlled by main circuit breaker.The lamps shall have complete accessories and be hung securely，and they shall not swing violently when the crane is operating.The lighting circuit shall have special null line or isolation transformer.It shall not be allowed to use the wire tube or the ground wire of crane as the null line.

10.2.4　Dead load test run of crane:when hoisting the load 1.25 times rated load to 100-200mm from the ground with the hang time not less than 10min，the electrical equipment shall have no abnormality.

10.2.5　The special car，taking and loading machines shall be in accordance with the following requirements:

1　When performing load test with 1.1 times rated load，they shall work normally.Combined running with automatic control shall be performed according to specified working systems and procedures for 10 times to confirm that the action and the signal are correct.

2　Simulated commissioning:the actions of dropping，lifting，hoisting off and locking shall be accurate，stable and reliable，and remain correct after 5-10 times.The control program test shall be performed with the entire machine interlocked for 1-5 times continuously to confirm that the action and signal are correct.

10.2.6　Four main coke oven vehicles:after manual and automatic running of individual device meet the requirements.Control program test with the entire machine interlocked shall be performed for 1-5 times continuously according to the requirements of technical documents of equipment to confirm that the action and signal are correct.
