11.2　General Items

11.2.1　The installation of the support and insulator of trolley line shall be in accordance with the following requirements:

1　The support shall not be welded on the web plate of track beam when it is installed on the track beam by welding.

2　The support shall be installed horizontally and securely，with even spacing，and located at the same horizontal or vertical plane.

3　The insulator and insulating sleeve shall be free from physical damage and defects，with clean surface and good insulation.The buffer gaskets between them and support shall be complete.

11.2.2　The installation of the trolley line shall be in accordance with the following requirements:

1　For trolley line rated 0.5kV or below，the minimum inter-phase and phase-to-earth clearance shall be 30mm.For indoor trolley line rated 3kV，the minimum inter-phase and phase-to-earth clearance shall be 100mm.Where the above can't be met，insulation measures shall be taken for trolley line.

2　The trolley line shall be straight after installed.The distance between the trolley lines shall be the same and their center lines shall be parallel to the actual center line of crane track with the deviation less than 10mm.The horizontal or vertical deviation between the trolley lines shall be less than 10mm.

3　The trolley line shall be securely fixed on the insulator and the joint between trolley lines shall be smooth and the contact surface shall be flat without rust.The joint between trolley line and conductor shall be galvanized and tinned.

4　Voltage withstand test shall be performed before installing the high-voltage insulator of 3kV trolley lines and the results shall be in accordance with the requirements of Article 2.1.5 in this code.

11.2.3　The installation of the traveling flexible cable shall be in accordance with the following requirements:

1　The end of slide or sling of flexible cable shall be securely fixed and the sling shall have complete adjustment devices.

2　The suspension device of flexible cable shall be able to move smoothly and stably along the slide or steel rope without jump or sticking.The cable clamp of suspension device securely fixed together with the flexible cable.

3　The traveling section of the flexible cable shall be 15-20% longer than the movement distance of the crane.If a traction rope is installed，it shall be shorter than the traveling section of flexible cable.

4　The two ends of the travelling section of flexible cable shall be securely fixed respectively on the crane and steel rope or slide.

11.2.4　The installation of the safety trolley line shall be in accordance with the following requirements:

1　The safety trolley line shall be connected and securely.The support clamps shall be securely installed，with spacing less than 3m between each other.

2　The insulation sheath for safety trolley line shall be intact，without crack and damage.

3　The tension spring of slide connector for safety trolley line shall be flexible and in good condition.The abrasion-resistant graphite sheet shall contact the trolley line reliably，without arcing-over during sliding.The connecting flexible cable shall meet the requirements for current carrying capacity.

11.2.5　The distance between the slide connector and the end of trolley line shall not be less than 200mm when the crane is at the end position.For the fixed section-steel trolley line，the distance between its terminal support and the end of trolley line shall be no more than 800mm.

11.2.6　At the position of expansion compensation device，the clearance of trolley line shall be 10-20mm and ends of trolley line at the both sides of the clearance shall be smooth.The contact surfaces shall be on the same horizontal plane and the height difference between both ends shall not be more than 1mm.At both sides of the clearance of expansion and shrinkage compensating device，there shall be supporting points for the trolley line，and the distance between the supporting points and the clearance should not be greater than 150mm.

11.2.7　The contact face at the joint of the trolley line shall be flat and smooth，and the height difference between the two ends shall not be more than 0.5mm.The section-steel trolley line shall be provided with a supporting board when being welded.

11.2.8　Proper tensile shall be maintained between the reel and the flexible cable after the reel flexible cable is installed.Crane shall not press the cable when moving.When the crane lets off the cable to the end，there shall be two turns of cable left on the reel.

11.2.9　The installation of the slide connector shall be in accordance with the following requirements:

1　The support of slide connector shall be securely fixed，and the insulator and the insulating lining shall be free of defects like crack and damage.The lead wire of conductor shall be securely fixed，and the conducting parts shall be well insulated from earth.

2　The slide connector shall contact the trolley line reliably along its length and can slide freely.

3　The movable part of slide connector shall be able to move freely.The contact part between slide connector and trolley line shall be free from sharp edges，and the pressure of the pressure spring shall meet relevant requirements.
