6　Installation of Oxygen Lance and Sublance

6.1　Oxygen Lance

6.1.1　The lance changing apparatus shall be installed according to the following requirements:

1　In case that the track for cross travelling trolley is required to be directly installed on the steel structural beam，the levelness of the steel structural beam shall be checked prior to the installation and the installation shall meet the requirement for accuracy of track installation.

2　The single-rail track for cross travelling trolley shall be installed according to the following requirements:

1）The longitudinal center line shall be adjusted，and the measurement by ruler should be carried out，with the allowable deviation of 1.0mm.

2）The longitudinal levelness shall be adjusted，and the measurement by leveler should be carried out，with the allowable deviation of 0.5/1000.

3）The elevation shall be adjusted with the allowable deviation of±1.0mm.The vertical positioning dimensions of single-rail track and guide rail shall be adjusted，and the measurement by optical instrument should be carried out，with the allowable deviation of±2.0mm.

4）The horizontal positioning dimensions of single-rail track and guide rail shall be adjusted，and the measurement by suspension wire should be carried out，with the allowable deviation of±1.0mm.

3　The double-rail track for cross travelling trolley shall be installed according to the following requirements:

1）The longitudinal center line shall be adjusted，and the measurement by plumb wire should be carried out，with the allowable deviation of 2.0mm.

2）The longitudinal levelness shall be adjusted，and the measurement by leveler should be carried out，with the allowable deviation of 0.5/1000.

3）The elevation shall be adjusted，and the measurement by optical instrument should be carried out，with the allowable deviation of±1.0mm.The allowable deviation of height of two rails at the same cross section shall be 2.0mm.

4）The distance between rails shall be adjusted，and the measurement by ruler should be carried out，with the allowable deviation of 2.0mm.

5）The joint clearance shall be adjusted，and the measurement by ruler and feeler gauge should be carried out，with the allowable deviation of 1.0mm.

6）The joint off-set shall be adjusted，and the measurement by ruler should be carried out，with the allowable deviation of 0.5mm.

4　For the installation of cross travelling trolley，its travelling mechanism shall be checked according to the requirement of the design technical document.The unqualified items（if any）shall be treated.

6.1.2　The lifting device for oxygen lance shall be installed according to the following requirements:

1　The fixed guide rail shall be installed according to the following requirements:

1）The straightness shall be checked according to the requirement of the design technical document prior to installation.

2）During installation，the fixed guide rail shall be positioned based on the center of converter.The longitudinal and horizontal center lines should be measured by plumb wire，with the allowable deviation of 1.0mm.

3）The verticality shall be adjusted，and the measurement by suspension wire should be carried out，with the allowable deviation of 0.5/1000 and that of 3.0mm for the overall length.

4）The joint off-set shall be adjusted，and the measurement with levelling ruler or feeler gauge should be carried out with the allowable deviation of 0.5mm.

5）The joint clearance shall be adjusted，and the measurement by ruler or feeler gauge should be carried out，with the allowable deviation of 1.0mm.

2　The mobile guide rail shall be installed according to the following requirements:

1）The mobile guide rail shall be installed based on the fixed guide rail，ensure the cross travelling trolley at working position，and align the mobile guide rail and the fixed guide rail，which should be measured with ruler，with the allowable deviation of 0.5mm.

2）The clearance between the mobile guide rail and the fixed guide rail shall be adjusted，and the measurement by feeler gauge should be carried out，with the allowable deviation of 1.0mm.

3）The verticality of the mobile guide rail shall be adjusted，and the measurement by suspension wire should be carried out，with the allowable deviation and that for the overall length of 0.5/1000 and 2.0mm respectively.

3　The hoisting mechanism of lifting trolley shall be checked in accordance with the requirement of the design technical document or related requirements of the current national standard General Code for Construction and Acceptance of Mechanical Equipment Installation Engineering GB 50231 in case of no related requirement in the design technical document.The unqualified items（if any）shall be adjusted and treated as required.

4　The lifting trolley shall be installed according to the following requirements:

1）The axes of the upper and lower holders shall be at the same vertical line，which should be measured by ruler and suspension wire，with the allowable deviation of 0.5mm.

2）The center of the holder shall be adjusted to be centered with the mouth of converter，which should be measured by suspension wire，with the allowable deviation of 3.0mm.

3）The clearance between the idler pulley and the guide rail shall be adjusted，and the measurement by feeler gauge should be carried out，with the allowable deviation of 1.0mm.

5　The clearance between the jaw or friction wedge of the lifting trolley's rope breaking（rope slack）protection device and the guide rail shall be adjusted in accordance with the requirement of the design technical document.

6.1.3　The oxygen lance shall be installed in accordance with the following requirements:

1　The straightness of the oxygen lance shall be checked according to the requirement of the design technical document，and it shall be protected against being twisted or deformed in case of lifting.

2　The oxygen lance shall be adjusted to be centered with the center of the mouth for oxygen lance on the hood，with the allowable deviation of 4.0mm.

6.1.4　In case that the oxygen lance is at working position，the locking device shall be installed for the cross travelling trolley.The limiting device at every special position in the stroke of oxygen lance shall be installed in accordance with the requirement of the design technical document.The final positions of all limiting devices shall be adjusted and determined during the test run of equipment.

6.1.5　All medium pipelines to be connected with the oxygen lance shall be connected after properly inspected and verified as required.
