3.2 Basic Requirements for the Machine Train Construction

3.2.1 Components and parts shall be lifted in accordance with the following requirements:

a)Protecting the surface of components and parts shall be taken while using hoisting rope;

b)Deformation protection measures for lifting baseplate shall be taken;

c)Special tools to lift rotor and keep it horizontal shall be used.No collision is allowed;

d)Upon dismantling components and parts,first disengage them safely from others and then lift them with lifting equipment.

3.2.2 The shims of the machine train shall be installed in accordance with the product technical documents.Otherwise,SH/T 3538 shall be followed.

3.2.3 After each machine set in position,levelness shall be checked,which shall meet the levelness requirements of individual machine.The measuring benchmark should be at horizontal split surface of the casing(cylinder)and bearing house.

3.2.4 The components and parts shall be dismantled and cleaned in accordance with the following requirements:

a)While disassembling components and parts,their relative positions and fitting gap shall be measured,marked and recorded accordingly;

b)Special tools shall be used for assembling/disassembling;

c)Using low pressure steam to purge components and parts,remove water and apply lubricant or grease for rust protection.Precision parts shall not be purged directly by steam;

d)Gasoline shall not be used to clean parts and components;

e)Cleaned parts and components shall be conserved properly.

3.2.5 Before rotor assembled,the bearing surface shall be lubricated with proper oil which is consistent with the requirement in normal operation.

3.2.6 Before machines shall closed,concealed inspection shall be made and signed by the owner/supervisor.

3.2.7 At the position where the operation temperature is over 250℃,anti-seize agent shall be used to the connecting bolts.

3.2.8 After the machine assembled,provisions shall be made to prevent foreign matters from entering.

3.2.9 Primary elements for shaft detecting shall be installed after calibration is qualified and conform to the product technical documents.

3.2.10 The permanent settlement observation point of the foundation shall be protected.
