4 Cable Route
4.0.1 Re-survey of cable route shall be based on the approved design and red lines approved by the planning authorities.Shall there be any route change, route change shall be approved.
4.0.2 During route re-survey,route protective measures and specific locations, where approved cable lines pass railways, roads, rivers, lakes, major water channels, underground pipelines and other obstacles, shall be verified.
4.0.3 During route re-survey,protective measures against erosion,termites,high-voltage and lightening, andassociated section length shall be verified.
4.0.4 When re-surveying routes of direct buriedoptical(electrical)cables and silicon-core plastic pipe lines, ground distance shall be measured;for duct optical(electrical)cables, the distance between manhole(hand hole)centers shall be measured;for overhead lines, the direct distance between two adjacent poles shall be measured.
4.0.5 Clear distance between direct-buried optical(electrical)cables or silicon-core plastic pipes and other buildings or facilities shall be in accordance with those specified in Table 4.0.5.
Table 4.0.5 Clear distance between direct-buried optical(electrical)cables or silicon-core plastic pipes and buildings or facilities(m)
Notes:1 When steel-pipe-protected direct-buried cable crossing with water pipe, gas pipe and oil pipe, the clear distance must not be less than 0.15m.
2 When cable passes by overhead line, anchor wire, discrete high tree and high building, lightning protection requirement shall be met as well.
3 A big tree refers to that with diameter greater than 300mm.
4 The cables shall be protected and buried under the existing cables or pipes, when crossing existing cables or pipes with similar burial depth.
5 Effective protective measures shall be taken according to the design requirement, while the minimum clear distance does not reach the requirements in the above table.
4.0.6 When the overhead communication line is closing or crossing with other facilities, the spacing distance shall be in accordance with the followings:
1 Minimum net distance between overhead communication lines and other facilities shall be in accordance with those specified in Table 4.0.6-1.
Table 4.0.6-1 Minimum net distance between overhead communication lines and other facilities
Note:In narrow area, when the distance between planned overhead opticalfiber cables and existing ones could not meet the above requirements, pole line sharing or other installation methods shall be used, and spacing requirement shall be met.
2 The height of the overhead optical(electrical)cable shall not be less than the requirement in Table 4.0.6-2.
Table 4.0.6-2 The height of overhead optical(electrical)cable
3 The minimum vertical clear distance when overhead optical(electrical)cable crossing other electric facilities, shall not be less than those specified in Table 4.0.6-3.
Table 4.0.6-3 Minimum vertical clear distancewhen overhead optical(electrical)cables crossing other electric facilities
Notes:1 When the power line is sheathed and the minimum clear distance is not reached the above requirement, the optical(electrical)cable line could crossover above the power line.
2 When the optical(electrical)cable line has to crossover power line, the two poles at each end of the span shall be protected and suspension wire shall be reinforced by using protective device.
3 The communication line shall be set up below the power line, and shall be set up above trolley wire and the contact web.
4.0.7 Cable-joint pits of direct-buried optical(electrical)cables and manholes(handholes)of siliconcore plastic pipes shall be located in higher and flatter places with solid ground, places wherecable jointing might be disturbed, such as ponds, river channels, roadsetc.shall be avoided.
