1　General

1.0.1　This code is prepared to implement national technical and economic policies in designing relay protections and automatic devices of electric power installations，so as to provide safe，reliable，technically advanced and cost-effective designs.

1.0.2　This code is applicable to design of relay protections and automatic devices of electric power installations such as 3-110kV transmission lines and equipment，generators rated 50MW and below，and power transformers rated 63MVA and below.

1.0.3　Apart from this code，the design of relay protections and automatic devices of electric power installations shall meet the current applicable national standards and codes as well.
