Foreword

According to requirements of Document（Jian Biao［2008］No.105）issued by Ministry of Housing and Urban-Rural Development of the People's Republic of China，On the issuance of notification 2008 Project Construction standards formulation，revision（second batch）the compiling group revised this code based on GB 50171-92 Electric equipment installation engineering　Code for construction and acceptance of panels，cabinets and secondary circuit wirings after extensive investigations.

The code comprises 8 chapters with the main contents as follows:general provisions，terms，basic requirement，panel and cabinet installation，electric accessories installation on panel and cabinet，secondary circuit wiring，grounding of panel，cabinet and secondary circuit，quality acceptance.

The clauses marked in black letter are compulsory provisions and must be enforced strictly.

Ministry of Housing and Urban-Rural Development of the People's Republic of China is in charge of the administration of this code and the explanation of the compulsory provisions.China Electricity Council is in charge of the routine management.Beijing Electric Power Construction Research Institute of State Grid Corporation of China is responsible for the explanation of specific technical contents.All relevant organizations are kindly requested to sum up and accumulate your experiences in actual practices during the process of implementing this code.The relevant opinions and advice，whenever necessary，can be posted or passed on to Beijing Electric Power Construction Research Institute of State Grid Corporation of China（Address:No.33 South Bin he Road，Xuan Wu District，Beijing.Tel:010-63424285）.
