Foreword

This code is prepared by Central Southern China Electric Power Design Institute of China Power Engineering Consulting Group Corporation in collaboration with associated organizations as required by the Notice on Printing and Distributing the Development and Revision Plan of National Standards for Engineering Construction 2006 issued by the former Ministry of Construction（JB［2006］No.136）.

This code has summarized and incorporated the mature and effective experiences and the applied scientific and technical achievements in the investigation and surveying of 330kV-750kV overhead transmission lines in recent years，reflected the new requirements for investigation and survey imposed by the owners and the engineering，construction，and operation organizations，and been finalized after review.This code is organized into 26 chapters and 15 appendices，mainly including:General，Terms and Symbols，Basic Provisions，Survey at Feasibility Study Stage，Survey at Preliminary Design Stage，Survey at Detailed Design Stage，Geotechnical Investigation at Feasibility Study Stage，Geotechnical Investigation at Preliminary Design Stage，Geotechnical Investigation at Detailed Design Stage，Geotechnical Investigation Methods，Geotechnical Investigation for Special Geotechnical Areas，Geotechnical Investigation for Areas under Special Geological Conditions，Prototype Test，Foundation Pit Inspection，Results of Geotechnical Investigation，Engineering Hydrological Investigation at Feasibility Study Stage，Engineering Hydrological Investigation at Preliminary Design Stage，Engineering Hydrological Investigation at Detailed Design Stage，Hydrological Investigation and Survey，Hydrological Analysis and Calculation，Evolution Analysis on River（sea）Bed，Engineering Meteorological Survey at Feasibility Study Stage，Engineering Meteorological Survey at Preliminary Design Stage，Engineering Meteorological Survey at Detailed Design Stage，Meteorological Investigation，and Meteorological Analysis and Calculation.

Articles in bold in this code are compulsory and must be observed strictly.
