Abstract

The Belt and Road Initiative（B&R) is the new strategic initiative raised by China's top leaders under Chinese economy in New Normal Era,and also as the result of change of relationship between China and the world.From the initiative of foreign policy to comprehensive grand strategy combining domestic development and open-up to the world,the initiative has been the outcome of interaction between Chinese top leaders and public opinion domestically and internationally.The real motivation of B&R initiative is fundamentally to establish new type of international relations with core of win-win cooperation and to make China a responsible great power regional and globally.That indicates that China will be the constructive leadership and provide more international public good to the world following the road of the new great power diplomacy with Chinese characteristic.

The book systematically analyzes the vision and actions of B&R Initiative from the perspectives of theory,approach,diplomacy and practices so on.Fundamentally,the book tries to answer the questions about why,what and how of B&R Initiative raised by various groups around the world.So,it is one of important reading material for government officials,business leaders,think tanks,universities and other people who are interested in B&R Initiative and will also give some guidance and suggestions to practice.
