Technical requirements

Throughout this chapter, we will be referencing different services available in Azure. If you would like to follow along, you can sign up for a free Azure account for 30 days and get $200 credit at https://azure.microsoft.com/en-us/free/.

To complete the RBAC example provided later in this chapter, you will need the following:

• PowerShell (version 5.1 recommended) with the Azure AD module installed – https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/powershell/module/azuread/?view=azureadps-2.0
• Global Administrator rights to your Azure subscription
• A text viewer to open JavaScript Object Notation (JSON) files
