Nominal features
Nominal or categorical features are features that can have a finite set of categorical values, and these values cannot be ordered in any specific order. In the example dataset, the sky condition feature is a nominal feature. In our example, the value of the nominal feature is either Sunny or Cloudy. Other examples of nominal features are gender and color. Nominal features can be converted into continuous variables by using techniques such as one-hot encoding.
