Communication protocols

The fact that you are able to read and understand this book proves that you know the English language. Like any other language written and spoken around the globe, the English language also has its own rules of grammar, syntax, and spelling. Almost equally, even computers, in order to communicate with one another, must know the communication language. Like human languages, the computer communication language also contain standards and rules, which are called communication protocols.
