Lemonade

An extremely hot day

Playground near my home

A little boy approached me

“Do you wanna try some homemade lemonade?

My mom and I made it this morning! It's only 2 dollars!”

His proud voice, business acumen attracted me

Helping him to be there

I decided to be his first customer

Refreshed by his lemonade

I'd like to say

“Thank you for teaching me

How brave should I be.”
