5．On Metaphysical Inquiry from Introduction to Future Metaphysics

Introduction to Future Metaphysics is Kant's work on how metaphysics, mathematics and science are based on rationality and the boundary of rationality. It explains the doubts in Critique of Pure Reason that were not understood by the time. Based on Introduction to Future Metaphysics , and combining the views and comments of other philosophers, this paper attempts to trace the boundary of human cognition and the obstacles to the establishment of metaphysics, in order to refute two common misunderstandings about metaphysics. The paper will analyze Kant's argument on how metaphysics is possible with the purpose of analyzing the“ought to be”unfolding state of metaphysics or restating its outlook for the future.
