13 Ex-factory inspection report;
14 Valve inspection and test reports(valve supervision and inspection certificates shall be included if required);
15 Signature of inspector and inspection stamp of manufacturer;
16 Ex-factory certificate.
Method:check quality certificates.
5.3.2 Nameplate of manufacturer shall be attached on valve body to indicate the following identifications as per design documents:
1 Manufacturer name;
2 Valve type;
3 Nominal pressure;
4 Nominal diameter;
5 Product number.
Method:visual examination.
5.3.3 If cryogenic closure test for valve is required in design documents,test results shall be included in quality certificates.
Method:check quality certificates.
5.3.4 If intercrystalline corrosion test is required in design documents,test results shall be included in quality certificates.
Method:check quality certificates.
5.3.5 When non-metallic sealing material is used as seat of valve containing flammable/combustible fluids,the results of fireproof test shall be included in the quality certificates.
Method:check quality certificates.
5.3.6 Inner surface of lined valve shall be flat and smooth.Lining shall be firmly bond to the base.Visual examination shall reveal no defects,such as cracks or bubbles.Test results of lining shall be included in the quality certificates of lined valve.
Method:visual examination,and check quality certificates.
5.3.7 Valve shall be free from damages,missing parts or rust.The surface of valve body shall be flat and smooth without any defects such as crack,shrinkage cavity,sand fusion,loose,interpass and pocket.
Method:visual examination.
5.3.8 Magnetic particle test or liquid penetration test shall be performed for the joint groove of buttwelded valve according to the following requirements.Test results shall conform to Grade I specified in current state standard JB/T 4730.4 Nondestructive Test of Pressure Equipment,Part 4:Magnetic Particle Test and Grade I specified in JB/T 4730.5 Nondestructive Test of Pressure Equipment,Part 5:Liquid penetration test.
1 100% test shall be performed for the groove of steel and chrome molybdenum steel with lower limit of standard tensile strength larger or equal to 540MPa;
2 5% of grooving and at least one groove shall be spot examined for non-austenitic stainless steel at design temperature lower than-29℃.
Method:check test reports.
5.3.9 Spectrum analysis or other tests shall be made for Cr-Mo alloy steel,cryogenic nickel steel,molybdenum austenitic stainless steel,nickel and nickel alloy,titanium and titanium alloy,zirconium and zirconium alloy valves to verify main alloy metal elements in valve body.
Method:check test reports.
5.3.10 Before valves are erected,shell test shall be performed according to the following requirements.Test pressure shall be 1.5 times nominal pressure of valve,and test results shall confirm to applicable standards specified in design documents.
1 10% of fabrication and at least one piece from each lot shall be spot examined for valves in design pressure less than or equal to 1MPa which are used in SHC4 and SHC5 Class piping;
2 Valve used in other piping shall be checked one by one.
Method:visual examination,and check test reports.
5.3.11 Backseat test,low pressure seat test and high pressure seat test of valves shall be performed after valves pass closure test.Above tests shall comply with the valve standards specified in design documents.And examination percentage shall comply with Article 5.3.10 of this code.
Method:check test reports.
5.3.12 Hydraulic test in 1.5 times design pressure shall be performed for jacketed part of jacket valve.
Method:perform visual examination,and check test records.
5.3.13 Industrial water,kerosene or other non-corrosive liquid with viscosity not higher than water may be used as test fluid for hydraulic test of valve.Air or inert gases may be used as test fluid for gas test.When water is used as test fluid for austenitic stainless steel valve,chloride content in water shall not exceed 100mg/L.Residual water shall be drained immediately upon completion of the test.
Method:visualexamination,and check test records.
5.3.14 Safety valves shall be examined and accepted according to the requirements specified in valve specifications as specified in design documents.Nameplates,labels,car seals,ex-factory documents and quality certificates of safety valves shall comply with the current state standards.
Method:visual examination,and check data and documents.
5.3.15 Steam traps may be examined during operation of the system.Valves shall reveal no steam leak when closed after drainage.Bimetallic steam trap shall act within rated operating temperature range.
Method:visual examination.
