Notice on publishing the National Standard of Code for Construction and Acceptance of Chimney Engineering

The Code for Construction and Acceptance of Chimney Engineering has been approved as a national standard，the number is GB 50078-2008.This national standard will be implemented on February 1，2009.Articles 3.0.8，3.0.9，4.1.3，6.1.4，6.1.5，6.3.1，8.1.2，11.0.5，13.0.5，13.0.11 are compulsory provisions and must be enforced strictly.The former code GBJ 78-85 Code for Construction and Acceptance of Chimney Engineering shall be abolished simultaneously.

Authorized by Research Institute of Standads and Norms Ministry of Housing and Urban-Rural Development.This code is published by the China Planning Press.
