6.4　Loading/Unloading of Packaged Goods

6.4.1　Rail car/truck or ship loading machines for bagged，drummed or boxed petrochemical products should be simple design，reliable operation and easy operation and maintenance.

6.4.2　For rail car/truck or ship loaders with manual palletizing，the capacity of one loading line should not exceed 1200 bags（pieces）per hour，and the maximum weight of one bag（piece）should not exceed 50kg.

6.4.3　Petrochemical products may be handled by unitized packages，flexible intermediate bulk container（FIBC）.The weight of one package should not exceed 2t and the weight of one super bag should not exceed 1t.The size and weight of one container may be determined according to the vehicles used for handling and the transportation conditions.

6.4.4　Handling machines，such as forklifts or cranes，should be provided for loading/unloading the goods that are transported by packages，super sacks or containers.
