5.2 Installation of Baseplate in Position
5.2.1 Following items shall be examined prior to putting the baseplate into position and comply with the following requirements:
a)Concrete strength under the supporting plate has been higher than 75%;
b)No damage and deformation is found on datum level;
c)Sand,rust,scale,oil dirt and others on the bottom of baseplate have been cleaned;
d)Adjusting screws on the baseplate have no rust and loosening,and are 25mm-30mm higher than bottom surface.
5.2.2 If the machine train has multiple baseplates,the preliminary alignment and leveling shall comply with the following requirements:
a)If the bearing seat and casing of the axial compressor are an integrated structure,the baseplate of gearbox shall be taken as the benchmark of the others;
b)If the bearing seat and casing of the axial compressor are separate structure,the baseplate of the compressor shall be taken as the benchmark for other baseplates.
5.2.3 The baseplate shall be put in position as per the layout drawing of the machine train,as shown in Figure 5.2.3.

5.2.4 Baseplate shall be aligned preliminarily and the accurate alignment shall be made together with the machine.The preliminary alignment shall comply with the following requirements:
a)Jackscrew is under even stress after adjustment;
b)The relevant position C between the baseplate and foundation is 50mm to 70mm,as shown in Figure 5.2.4;
c)Axis of the baseplate shall be in conformity with that of the equipment foundation and the allowable deviation is 2mm;
d)The allowable deviation of the baseplate installation elevation is within±5mm;
e)The allowable deviation of the baseplate levelness is 0.1mm/m;
f)The setup of shims shall conform to SH/T 3538.
